How It Started

MercServices was founded by a small team of former Mercedes-Benz employees who recognised the need for a genuine alternative to the main dealer network, somewhere customers could receive the same technical knowledge and specialist care, but with a more personal and transparent experience. What began as a passion for Mercedes engineering quickly grew into a trusted independent service centre built on reputation, integrity, and attention to detail.

MercServices started in 2006 in the workshops at Tooting where Prestige Cars had been serviced since the 1970’s and culminating with MercServices from 2006. In 2013 they moved to a larger, improved facility in Mitcham, where they are now based. MercServices has continued to invest in the latest Mercedes-Benz diagnostic technology, specialist equipment, and ongoing technical training to ensure every vehicle is maintained to the highest possible standard.

Owner David Stannard worked for over 15 years with a variety of prestige main dealers as an After Sales Manager and General Manager before starting MercServices in 2006.

By offering a high degree of technical expertise combined with great value for money MercServices grew rapidly and we have seen over 15,000 vehicles pass through our workshop since opening!
