Service Advisor
Position Requirements
Full driving licence
Good level of English language, spoken and written.
Basic level of mathematics
Good attendance and timekeeping
Customer facing role requiring an ability to multi task
Have a cheerful disposition
Fit and healthy (This job requires some physical activity, such as lifting parts and cleaning cars)
AIM: To sell parts and labour to achieve a profitable business whilst offering customers a good experience.
ACHIEVED BY: Taking telephone bookings and answering queries. Pricing jobs and advising customers of additional work recommended. Invoicing. Explaining the invoice to the customer. Moving cars. Washing and vacuuming cars. Issuing work to technicians and monitoring progress. Ensuring customers requests are actioned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting technicians with some manual tasks (such as wheel changing).
Deputising for manager in their absence.
Cashing up at end of day.
Opening up/ locking up dependent on staffing.
Collection and delivery of customer cars.
